Beetroot Cutlet

 10 mins       Serves 4         Vegetarian


3 medium potatoes, boiled and grated
2 medium beetroots, boiled and grated
2 green chillies, chopped
1⁄4 cup coriander, chopped
1⁄2 tbsp red chilli powder
1⁄4 tsp garam masala
1⁄2 tbsp cumin powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 whole lemon, squeezed
1⁄2 cup bread crumbs
salt to taste


1. In a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients and make a semi hard dough.

2. Using a heart shaped cutter give it shape.

3. Preheat the skillet on a medium flame.

4. Place the heart shaped cutlets on the skillet with lid on and Redi-Temp® valve open.

5. Once the valve whistles, close the Redi- Temp® valve and cook on a low flame for 3 minutes.

6. Open the lid, using a spatula flip the cutlet and repeat the cooking process.

7. Serve it hot with mint sauce or/and ketchup.
