The Mixology Masterclass organized by thinKitchen celebrates the Indian launch of Ravenhead Barware, a renowned British barware brand from The Rayware Group. Enthusiastic participants eager to learn the art of crafting mocktails like a pro came together under the expert guidance of mixologist Janhavi Pathak at Mumbai’s BKC We Work.

At the core of the masterclass was Ravenhead, a brand synonymous with stylish and versatile glassware. Initially a producer of bottles, Ravenhead expanded in the 1930s to include domestic tableware such as bowls, jugs, and drinking glasses. Their products have earned an international reputation for combining style and durability, making them ideal for both casual and formal occasions. The glassware is designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional ensuring that users can enjoy entertaining in style.

A tropical twist on the classic Picante, this punch is a refreshing and fiery blend of flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • Ice
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Combine the juices and nectar: In a large pitcher, combine the pineapple juice, lime juice, and agave nectar.
  2. Add the jalapeño: Add the sliced jalapeño to the pitcher. Let it infuse for at least 30 minutes (or up to an hour) for a spicier flavor.
  3. Add the spirits: Stir in the tequila.
  4. Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour the punch over it. Garnish with lime wedges.

  • 4 ounces tonic water
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Muddle the cucumber: In a cocktail shaker, muddle the cucumber slices to release their flavor and aroma.
  2. Add the spirits and juice: Add the gin (or vodka), elderflower liqueur, and lime juice to the shaker.
  3. Shake and strain: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
